Love and POP: Koharu Kusumi interview, G The Television magazine

Your new photobook is called POP. What does the title mean?
It describes the feeling that stupid ass wotas get in their pants when they see the photobook.

Tell us about the theme of the photos in this book.
The theme is to unsheath your zanpakutou and go bankai.

What kind of experience was it like, traveling to Guam?
I don't know what kind of froo-froo world they live in.

What aspect of yourself did you want to focus on in this photobook?
Deadly thighs, Miracle Triangle, and sharp knees.

What do you think of the rumours about Miyabi Natsuyaki's virginity?
She did it for the baby.

How often she is "active"?
About 300 times. Or maybe OVER 9000!!!!!1111

Recent studies show that 20% of Hello! Project fans cannot locate Japan on a world map. Why do you think that is?
I personally believe that Hello! Project Musume fans are unable to do so, because, um, some people out there in our nation don't have maps and, uh, I believe that our, I, education like such as uh, the Iraq, and the Asian countries, like such as, our education should help, uh, the Junjun and Linlin, to build up our future, for us.

No, seriously, why?
It's moronic, is what it is.

1. Tell us about what happened while you were on the photoshoot in Guam!
I bought some fresh made ice cream, but it started melting during the photoshoot. So one of the staff around there had to keep it from dripping on the clothes while we were shooting, but once I got to eat the ice cream I was so happy. ♡ I licked it really fast and finished it all!

2. Besides the photoshoot, what other fun things did you do in Guam?
I got to eat shrimp!! I reeeeeeally love shrimp ♡♡ Actually, it was this tasty seafood restaurant that I went to, and the shrimp was great. I also tried the lobster, since it's kind of like shrimp. But I still like shrimp more than lobster. ♡♡ So I guess that was NOT ONLY fun, BUT ALSO tasty (lol).

3. Out of all the outfits you wore in the photobook, which swimsuit was your favorite?
The yellow swimsuit. It fits the book's title "POP" the best!

4. Singing, anime voice-acting, photobooks. What do you hope to achieve in each of these?
In singing, I'm trying to bring out the feelings in the lyrics. I want people to identify with the song and with me when they hear it. In the voice-acting work, I take on the role of Kirari Tsukishima, but we're similar in many ways, so that's something that comes naturally. With photobooks, I'm trying all these different poses with all the different outfits, and lots of different angles, back and forth, just having fun, trying to get that one shot that reflects my feelings.

5. One of the photobook's themes is the dream of a 15-year-old girl. What's your dream right now?
I want lots of people to appreciate the hard work and challenges I've taken on.

6. You're the constantly cheerful Koharu-chan. What's the secret of your bright, cheerful attitude?
★Eating ★Sleeping ★Playing

7. On the other hand, has there been something sad that happened to you recently?
One time, I was saving my favorite food for later, but then I noticed it was gone. "Did it fall down somewhere?" I thought, and I checked all over the floor, but it wasn't there of course, so I must have missed the fact that someone else in the house had already eaten it.

8. How has it been, working with the Morning Musume 10th Anniversary unit?
It's been a real learning experience. Everyone's been great.

9. With the addition of new members in Morning Musume's core, has your sense of the group changed?
A little bit, but as long as I get used to Junjun and Linlin's ways, we'll do fine.

10. Give us an idea of what to expect on the Morning Musume Fall Tour that starts on 9/22!
This time we're going on tour with v-u-den, so I think v-u-den's aura of sexiness will rub off on us!
